I have been working as a researcher at the Garching campus for over thirteen years, currently as managing director of the Munich Institute of Biomedical Engineering (MIBE). I lead my own research group and am involved in teaching, committee work, and infrastructure projects. I am running for the Senate to contribute the perspective of our status group in a constructive manner. My experience in research, teaching, and administration has shown me that clarity, reliability and pragmatism are essential. I would like to work toward these goals in the Senate. As a team, we have been committed to the interests of our status group in many ways during the current period. Josef as representative in the Senate, Katja as spokesperson for the KwM. The https://youtu.be/5WXQwBYsKto“Shaping the future” workshop deserves special mention, where almost one hundred participants from our group collected ideas for TUM and exchanged them with President Thomas Hofmann. But we also took care of the day-to-day business, which includes a wide range of networking activities.
